Our purpose is performing the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy in the Service of God. We share prayer and fellowship as we help provide for parish needs. The Altar Society beautifies the Altar, provides spiritual growth to the women of the parish through corporal works of mercy and supports other church and community activities.

Altar Society Membership

All women of the parish are automatically enrolled as members of the Altar Society.
Members meet approximately 5 times a year.

ALTAR SOCIETY MEMBERS TAKE CARE OF

● Church and Seasonal Flowers and Decorations
● Confirmation and First Communion Receptions
● Sponsor funeral luncheons and funeral wake receptions
● Provide liturgical supplies for parish (i.e. candles, incense, vestments, altar bread and wine, etc)
● Support Community Activities
● Fundraising Events to help support the Parish
● Lead Rosary before Masses
● Support World Marriage Day/ Support Pro-Life Activities

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful. And kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And you will renew the face of the earth. Lord, by the light of the Holy Spirit you have taught the hearts of your faithful. In the same Spirit help us to relish what is right and always rejoice in your consolation.
